Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - also known as Gugu is a British stage actress and film actor. She gained fame after appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who', a British science-fiction television show. Gugu was famous for her character Tish Jones in the series by BBC. She was the sister to a main character who was named Martha Jones. Gugu's viewers loved her openness and she was soon getting ready for a long-lasting acting career. The other stage and TV productions in Britain include several different productions. Her work has been highly praised by critics for her performance on "Belle" (2013), an English period drama as well as "Beyond the Lights" which is a romantic comedy. In American productions, she has played on television shows like "Undercover" and "Touch" in addition to as Tom Hanks comedy film Larry Crowne. Gugu was the star of Jessica Swale's play in 2015, "Nell Gwynn", as an actress and mistress to King Charles II. She received a lot of praise from critics that were very pleased with her acting skills as well as her performance. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February 1975 at Livingston, New Jersey. The family was comprised of six family members including Chelsea Joy Handler as the youngest. Her father was a automobile dealer and her mother, a homemaker. Her mother was a German Immigrant, who immigrated to the United States in 1958. In 1989, she was diagnosed with cancer and died ten years later. Handler is a Jew of the Reform movement, and her father was Jewish. Handler lived in a good neighborhood and had a happy childhood. When she was 19 Handler relocated into Los Angeles, California to explore a career in acting. To help support herself, Handler began to work as an actress. Handler at the time was 21 was able to concentrate on stand-up comedy as a full-time occupation after discovering her storytelling skills. Handler made her debut on her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving badly, a reality show with an in-camera hidden camera and a practical joke. The series ran between 2002 and 2005. Handler began appearing on other shows like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was hired as a correspondent on The Tonight Show as a correspondent. The biggest break for Handler was in 2006 when she began hosting her show on E! Named The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler appeared on The Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States following the season. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up show. In 2010, it was confirmed that she would be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards. This made her only the second female to host VMA's after Roseanne Barr.
